Back from the past

Its been almost three years and I have not written anything. To be honest did not have the interest. Its like wanting something very badly and then the moment you have it, it looses its attraction. Its not easy to get back to something which you left a long time ago but that's exactly what I plan to do.

The first recipe after my hiatus has to be something simple...let me think what can I share today...may be a dip for all seasons and all reasons....I call it the "happy dip". I created this when I was completely down and out and pulling my hairs to make something nice for my daughter. Then I looked into my fridge and could understand how Alice would have felt in the Wonderland where anything and everything was a possibility. So I took all the relevant stuff out and looked at them to think what I could make. What I made, made my daughters day. she looked happy and satisfied and gave me a thumbs up. That's how the dip got its name. Sharing the same with you all.

Happy Dip

Ingredients:

Fresh Curd - 200 gms
Cream - 2 tbsp
4-5 cloves
2-3 Green chillies (change the no.s as per your threshold)
1/2 tsp chilli flakes
4-5 pepper corns
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp finely chopped celery
2 garlic pieces
Salt to taste

Method:

Simple. Just grind coarsely all the ingredients except curd & cream. The mixture should not be fine and paste like but should be coarse. For achieving this you can put all the stuff in grinder and turn the knob in the opposite direction and keep it for 10-15 secs. The mixture that you will get is what we are looking at.

Then just pour it out in bowl and mix in the curd and cream. Taste it and adjust the seasoning as per taste. Serve with love and see the results.

Bon Appetit!
